Cookin’ Greens Leafy-Greens Burgers

Makes 4 Burgers or 8 Meatballs


2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

2 cups Cookin’ Greens (works with any Cookin’ Greens product)

1/2 cup minced Parsley

1 pound Ground Sirloin /Chicken/Turkey/Lamb

1/cup Grated Cheese

1 Clove Garlic  minced

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1/8 teaspoon Pepper


  1. Heat olive oil in medium sized skillet.
  2. Add Cookin’ Greens of your choice. (from frozen)Saute until heated through, about 3 minutes.
  3. Combine sautéed Cookin’ Greens with parsley, protein of choice, cheese, and garlic.   Shape into burgers or meatballs.
  4. Heat a non-stick large skillet over medium heat for 1 minute.
  5. Cook the burgers/meatballs for 8 minutes, turning once at 4 minutes. For medium well done, cook for *10 minutes. (*Ensure internal temperature reaches proper temperature – use a meat thermometer for guidance.
